Christmas Crafts
There are ten women in my family, not including me, and I decided to make them all jewelry for Christmas this year. I have always loved making jewelry, but I have recently stepped up my game and become more ambitious this year with different materials.
I made these for my mom and aunts. I also found this design on pinterest, but was also inspired by some similar jewelry that I saw in St. Paul de Vence, France a few years ago. My design varied a bit from the two inspiration pieces, but in the end I was very happy with the end result. Who doesn't love some pearls and hemp!!
Ready for Christmas day! |
I made a variety of things this year, necklaces and bracelets mostly. I got several of my designs from pinterest and then modified them to my liking.
There bird nest necklaces were for my mom, cousins and granmother. I made each one a little different and personalized for each of the recipients. They were real easy to do, especially with this how to that I followed for my first one that I made: DIY Bird Nest Necklace
I mustache you a question! I saw these beautiful silver mustaches and couldn't resist. I made one for my brother's girlfriend and one of my co- workers. They loved them and I thought they turned out pretty great!
This is one of my favorites that I did. Possibly because I love bows so very much!!!!!! I found this on pinterest once again, but I varied a bit. I made it from leather and my dad put the snaps on it to finish it up. I took diy photos when I made it, so I will post those soon. Here is where I got the original design from. Bow Braclet
