Celebration of Life
Last week my granmom passed away on her 93rd birthday, and today we are celebrating her life at her funeral. It has been a rough few weeks and my prayers for today are that we can celebrate her life, the woman she was, and the woman that she molded me to be.
My aunt said it best, "she was having the best birthday dinner of her life. With Jesus and my grandfather." Who could ask for more?
I've always said that if I grow up to be even half the woman she was I will die happy. My granmom was a godly woman and just like my parents she taught me how to love. How to have a love for Christ, a love for her family, and a love for life.
Today we are not mourning her loss, we are celebrating her life; just how she would have wanted it!
