Confessions of an Interior Designer- New Job

Two months ago I wrote a blog entry with an over-flowing heart and no idea where the Lord was taking me.  To say that the past two months have been a breeze would be a lie.  I have been stressed; truly stressed for one of the first times in my life.  Working two and a half jobs has worn me thin.  Not knowing where my desk would be even at the end of the year has cause less sleep than desired.

With all that said, losing my job was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.  Let me say it again, losing my job was one of the best things that has ever happened to me and the Lord knew exactly what he was doing.  Since leaving my job I have made new friends, dated, gone on vacation(twice), worked two jobs where I have already learned so much, and been reminded how lucky I am for what I do have.

The Lord has provided just as I always knew he would.  He provided during those rough two months, and now he has provided me a full time job.  I am very excited about this new Journey and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for me there!

Perhaps this was just the Lord's way of showing me He knows what he is doing.  Perhaps there are some amazing projects at this firm in my near future.  Or perhaps this is just a Confession of an Interior Designer.

Happy Monday, Happy New Week,
and Happy First Day of Work for ME!!

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD.  "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  In those days when you pray, I will listen.  If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.  I will be found in you," says the LORD." -Jeremiah 29:11-14a
