Sanctified

I shared with you a few of my favorite posts and one of my favorite songs a few days ago and I am back today to share another one of my favorite Mercy Me songs with you again.  This is such a special song to me because it has meant so much to me at many different times in my life.

During my Pine Cove days we would start every Saturday afternoon staff meeting off with a song.  The lights would be turned down low and we had that four minutes to ourselves for first time all week because all of the campers had just gone home.  It was such a sweet time to for some of us breath for what seemed like the first time all week and to truly stop and worship the Lord.  My favorite thing about it was seeing my fellow staff members scattered through out the Boomerang(our dinning/event hall) some sitting, some laying, some kneeling, but most importantly all worshiping in their own way.  This beautiful song was one that we worshiped to regularly and it brings back all of those blessed memories of true worship and contentment in the Lord.

At other times in my life this has been a song that truly brought me to tears driving the four hour trip back and forth from college and home.  Those tears were tears of joy and hope because I am know that the Lord gives me more than I deserve everyday and I am so thankful for that.

Today, it is a sweet reminder of how blessed I am and that I have been set free!  The Lord truly loves me and shows His love in such mighty ways!

Let there be no condemnationFor all who're fully known in ChristUnspeakable grace for all the nationsBy way of holy sacrificed
We worship with the sound of broken shackles falling to the ground
Sanctified I have been set freeGrace divine has swept me off my feet
No greater love has ever been knownThan He who came to find the lostNo greater sacrifice has been shownThan He who laid upon the cross
Let all creation sing for He has come and He's changed everything
Sanctified I have been set freeGrace divine has swept me off my feetGrace divine has swept me off my feet
And I know that I will never be the sameAnd I know that I will never be the sameAnd I know that I'll never be the sameAnd I know that I'll never be the same
Sanctified I have been set freeGrace divine has swept me off my feet
And I know that I will never be the sameAnd I know that I'll never be the sameAnd I know, yes I know, I will never sameHallelujah
-Mercy Me
