When I moved home from college I had just finished being on my own and having roommates in dorms and apartments for the past four years.  I loved every minute of it, but did have my fair share of occasional roommate problems.  All my problems were solved in the roommate department when I moved back in with my parents.

It has been nothing but pure joy living with them.  I more-or-less have my own apartment on the front of our house, and in the two years I have never wanted to move.  And that even includes my time of driving an hour one way to work, until now.

Now I am working five minutes from my office, and I am ready to move out and be on my own.  I will be cutting about thirty seconds off my drive and I am so happy!  Just kidding- but seriously... So where am I moving?

I am moving into my grandparents old house which is just next door.  We have had renters in it since I was in high school, and I am so happy to now call it home.

This dream is finally becoming a reality and I am beside myself.  In this post the Bestie said it best in #8 that 'Sanger is in her blood through and through.  Her family is our little town's heritage...  I wouldn't be surprised if when we're old and grey, she is still farming her family's land!'  Well, she is probably right.
A little inspiration!
My brother made my day when he said that he was excited to see how I decorate it.  He has seen my apartments bedrooms over the years, and my current room but he is ready to see what my design style will be in a whole house.  And honestly, I'm excited to see what my design style will be too!

You better believe I will keep you all updated on my new place.  Fixing it up, decorating, moving in, and rockin' a house warming party(which the Bestie is already planning)!

There are still several steps to take before I am officially moved in, but I guess that is just part of the Journey.  Our current renters are moving out right now so we will be able to get in the middle of the month to start renovations and improvements.  We are still a few months away, but I just couldn't wait to share with all of you my exciting news!!

This is sooo exciting!! And I can't wait to see pictures of your new home! Yay!!
