Finish this...

My favorite recipe is... Treasure Cookies if I am in the mood for something sweet or baking something to take somewhere.  They always remind me of the wonderful care packages my mom would send me in college!  If I am cooking it would either be my mom's meat loaf and mashed potatoes or these amazing spinach lasagna rolls.  But truthfully as long as I am in my kitchen with some Texas country playing then whatever I am making is my favorite in that moment!

I believe in... Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."  2 Corinithians 5:21.  I also strongly believe in sweet tea, rainy days, falling in love, beauty in brokenness, dreaming big, Texas, city lights, sunrises and sunsets, taking back roads, and college football.

I need to set boundaries... in the evenings so that I will go to bed on time and wake up to have a peaceful morning at home before I head off to work.  For me those two things set not only the tone for my day, but for my entire week.

I began living when... after college I realized that no one else was going to do it for me and that I could do it on my own.  I did not need a man, a job, my parents, or the world to tell me it was okay to jump in head first.

Many thanks to Nicole, Lisa, Jen, and Becky for hosting!
And the bestie for introducing me to this great link up!

Treasure cookies??? YES PLEASE! I'm going to pin that baby. :-)
I agree with Amber! Those cookies sound Ah-Mazing!! Yum :) I love the picture you posted with the quote - the words are truly powerful. Have a great week!
I love your responses! The spinach rolls sound delicious, you need to share that recipe! I'm right there with you on the boundary of a decent bedtime. I'm NOTORIOUS for staying up too late because it's the only "me time" I really get in the day, after Kamden has gone to bed and the house is quiet and I can just take a big, deep breath. Then it's off to bed around 11 and I'm back up between 2 and 3am to pump. The cycle never ends .... but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! Thanks for joining the link up with us. :)

Oh evening boundaries. How I do need those! Last night I didn't go to sleep until close to midnight. I really treasure my time before the boys wake up to do my devotional and have a cup of tea and when I stay up that late I don't get it.

And those cookies!!! Yum.
